About the Organization
9th Editions and Studio 9th operate at the intersection of contemporary art, cultural production, and creative strategy. 9th Editions offers curated, accessible contemporary works by emerging Canadian artists through our online platform. Studio 9th develops art collections, exhibitions, installations, and cultural projects that bring art into public and private spaces.
We work closely with artists through studio visits, long-term relationship building, and hands-on support, helping emerging practices grow their presence and opportunities within the art market.
Our clients and collaborators include real estate developers, design studios, hospitality groups, residential collectors, and cultural partners across Canada and internationally. From multi-arts exhibitions to large-scale activations, we build experiences that connect audiences to art in meaningful and lasting ways.
About the Founder
Ash Mulvihill is a curator, art consultant, cultural producer, and the founder of 9th Editions and Studio 9th. Her work spans exhibitions, commissions, and collection advising across residential, corporate, hospitality, and public contexts, with a focus on emerging Canadian artists.
She holds a multidisciplinary background in Art History, Ancient History, and Philosophy, along with a Master’s in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. This foundation grounds her practice in both contemporary cultural theory and market strategy. Her approach to place-making and cultural development is research-driven, collaborative, and centered on long-term value, critical dialogue, and meaningful access to contemporary art.
