MixtuRe: Digital Art and Compositional Realities is a symposium exploring the intersections of new media theory with artistic and curatorial practices as means to expand, redefine, and undermine existing disciplinary categorization. Panels will explore new media art as a means to reflect on everyday realities in the digital age.


9:00am – 9:30am – Morning coffee and Introductory Address

9:30 – 11:00am – Panel I: New Media Art as a Tool for Preservation, Research, and History Production

11:15 – 12:15 – Roundtable: Digital Art as Experimental Research Tool/Method

12:15pm – 1:30pm – Lunch

1:30 – 3:00: – Panel II: From Ephemeral Engagements to Collectible Experiences

3:15 – 4:30 – Keynote Address: Professor Christine Ross

4:30pm – Reception
