Please complete this form to indicate your requests for FAH undergraduate courses.

The standard teaching load for tenure-stream faculty who are also members of the Graduate Department of Art History is 2.0 FCE (1.5 FCE undergraduate courses and 0.5 FCE graduate courses). Of the three classes at the undergraduate level, faculty members typically offer one class each at the 200, 300, and 400 levels.

St. George Undergraduate Art History Course Selections for 2021-2022 are due by September 11, 2020.

Note: Requests for courses, days, and times will be accommodated as much as is possible but cannot be guaranteed. For your information, department events (meetings, colloquia, workshops, etc.) are typically scheduled Tuesdays 12-2 PM therefore it is important not to schedule classes at that time.

Do you have any current or anticipated administrative duties that will give you a course release?
A reminder that the department is obligated to offer TEN (10) such classes each year so this is a duty that should fall to everyone every few years.
This program allows you to design a course that you would teach to first year undergraduates in classes of no more than 24. Each department is required to offer 2.0 FYF courses per academic year.
A reminder that summer teaching is voluntary and paid on an overload/stipendiary basis.
A reminder that FAH102H1: Art & Ideas is a one-semester introductory course that can be on any theme of your choosing, with a temporal and geographical breadth.
