Annual Progress Report of Art History PhD Student by Doctoral Student PDF Describe progress-to-date on the degree requirements and dissertation thesis (e.g. language and comprehensive exams; thesis proposal; chapters drafted, submitted, and/or approved); work remaining to be completed (e.g. research, writing); and a detailed timetable for the next year.
Art History TA and CI Quick Guide PDF The TA and CI Quick Guide provides guidance on training and supports, resources, checklists, important dates and links, and a contact list.
Doctoral Completion Award (DCA) Application Form PDF The aim of the DCA is to support full-time PhD students who are beyond the funded cohort but within the time limit for the degree.
Doctoral Research and Conference Travel Grant Application PDF The Department of Art History Travel Grant is designed to provide full-time PhD students with financial assistance in order to pursue travel that is necessary for the research program and in direct support of the completion of their dissertation thesis.
Graduate Course Selection Form (MA and PhD Students) PDF Course selections will be approved by faculty by mid-July with course enrollment taking place in August.
Key and Access Fob Request Webform (not available at the moment) Keys and fobs are available for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the Department of Art History who need to access the department after hours and/or on weekends. (The Department of Art History’s offices at Sidney Smith Hall are currently closed until further notice. This decision aligns with the University of Toronto’s institutional response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its continued effort to limit the spread of COVID-19. As a result, no keys and access fob requests are being processed.)
PhD Advisory Committee PDF Immediately following successful completion of comprehensive examinations, students must formally establish their PhD Advisory Committee.
PhD Comprehensive Exam Request PDF PhD students are required to complete their comprehensive examination normally within the first four (4) sessions of registration (i.e. prior to the end of the Fall term of Year 2).
Request for Graduation Form (MA and PhD Students) Form Please complete and return the "Request for Graduation" form to the Graduate Office by the appropriate deadline, usually announced by email each session.
Request or Update Your Profile Webform Department of Art History faculty, students, and postdoctoral fellows can use this form to request or update their website profile.
Room Bookings and A/V Requests Webform Department of Art History faculty, students, and postdoctoral fellows can use this form to assist with room booking and audio-visual (A/V) requests.
