Description

On June 2, the Archaeology Centre & the Jackman Humanities Institute welcome David Wengrow for an in-person lecture titled: On the Origins of the "Origins of Inequality."

Then, on June 3, join us for an open discussion of the New York Times Bestseller, The Dawn of Everything: A New History of Humanity by David Graeber and David Wengrow.”  For this event, we invite the larger community to learn more about the highly influential book that proposes provocative new theories on the origins of inequality, agriculture, fundamental social institutions, urbanism, and more. Attendees are welcome to pose critical questions to co-author David Wengrow and engage in a larger conversation concerning central issues in archaeology.”

Both events will happen in person.
