Iako Patton

Join HASA on February 9th at 6 pm for our Field Notes Lecture Series with Iako Patton (HASA President)

With a love for Netherlandish art, lako approaches her scholarship on the Northern Renaissance at the intersection of gender, colonialism, and its artistic representations. She will discuss her focus on Netherlandish art and research on the Treaty Learning Project, Absent Landscapes. For the last two years, lako has worked as a research assistant to St. Michael's professor, Reid Locklin, on the resource website where she writes at the intersections of art history, Christianity, coloniality, and Indigeneity.
