Congratulations to Samantha Chang, U of T 3MT® Finalist!

March 30, 2020 by Department of Art History

The Department of Art History is pleased to announce that PhD Candidate, Samantha Chang, has advanced to the U of T 3MT® Final Competition! As one of 12 finalists, this is an extraordinary achievement, especially against the backdrop of the challenges students are experiencing with the pandemic.

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition is open to graduate students enrolled in Canadian universities. Participants have three minutes or less to present their research to a panel of non-specialist judges, and competitions are held at local, provincial, and national levels. The challenge is to present complex research information in an engaging, accessible, and compelling way. This competition is a unique opportunity for graduate students to showcase their innovative and significant research to a wider audience, across disciplines within the University, and to the broader public.

The finals of the U of T 3MT® Competition will take place from 6–8 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2020 on Zoom. Please consider joining the audience to support Samantha and all the other amazing U of T students taking part in this competition.

Registration information is available on the U of T 3MT® Eventbrite page.
