We are delighted to announce that Philip Sapirstein has joined the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto as Assistant Professor of Greek Architecture in the Department of Art History.
As a specialist in ancient architecture, Dr. Sapirstein has been rewriting the history of early Greek monumentality as well as pioneering new methods of 3D recording and visualisation. This summer he returned to Greece and Turkey for fieldwork in Athens, the Mani, and Didyma. He currently is serving the Department of Art History in the administrative role of Associate Chair of Undergraduate Studies.
