Art History Special Notice

March 17, 2020 by Department of Art History

As the situation regarding COVID-19 continues to rapidly evolve, the Department of Art History has responded by cancelling or postponing all upcoming events. Additionally, following President Gertler’s email announcement, Art History courses are being taught online for the remainder of the 2019-20 S term and faculty and staff are continuing their vital work from home. We are confident that virtually all students will be able to successfully complete their Art History courses online, and we continue to prioritize the health of all students and staff by complying with university and public health official guidance.

The University of Toronto has created a central information hub for important messages and commonly asked questions about the coronavirus and its impact on the university. You can also submit questions through an online form. Questions will be reviewed by the appropriate office and staff will respond as soon as possible; please note that considering the current circumstances, there may be a delay in receiving a response.

Please take care of yourselves, your family, and your friends as we continue to navigate this unprecedented chapter in our institutional history.

Best regards,

Department of Art History
